Functionality
GiboPack is a product-package cell based on a modular concept that allows to expand with multiple modules as needed. If purchased as stand-alone, GiboPack replaces the manual packaging of products in cardboard boxes
within 120×120×120 mm to 650×650×550 mm.
The cell is simple, user-friendly and with high output. The operator selects size and type on the touchscreen and the cell is ready for operation. Inlets move products to an automatic divider orienting the number of products the
robot must handle. When a layer is full, the gripper sucks up the layer and places it in the box. The cycle is repeated by the number of layers to be placed in the box. When full, it is released and moved to the box sealer. After
sealing, it is moved out of the cell for palletizing.
GiboPack can be expanded with more robots and conveyors.
GiboPack is designed in solid material and well-thought-out solutions to ensure maximum operation with minimal maintenance costs if preventive
maintenance is performed by authorized Gibotech service personnel at least once a year.
GiboPack is part of GiboSmartSolutions and is closely related to GiboBox and GiboPalletize.
